Reno@Queensway - Renders

Well it's been quite some time since I have last updated on our recent projects which we are undertaking. There are quite a few BTOs in the pipeline, some have gotten their keys while some are still waiting anxiously...so it's more of a waiting game for BTOs and not much to update.

For resales! hah. Getting the keys is a much faster process I believe since most BTO owners wait about 2 to 3 years before the construction finishes. So here we have a new resale project in Queensway which is soon to commence and timeline is very very tight as the home owners have a certain time where they need the reno to complete and shift in.

I must say it was quite a challenge for us when we saw the fan shaped layout and not to mention the flat was so old that the dimensions were in imperial!!! There's a gas pipe in the kitchen which you normally don't find in HDB flats. My guess is that it's the same thing as one of our Holland flats where the owner has to report the gas meter reading every month by himself! Yup, the gas meter is not outside the flat but in the flat.  But i guess what we designers are most afraid of old flats are the unforeseen items once hacking starts!

But everything has its own beauty in its own way. I'm sure the new owners will know how to dress it up when the time comes.
