Reno@CCK3 Maisonette - FINAL PHOTOS

Welcome to a newly renovated maisonette in Choa Chu Kang. Staying in this maisonette is a couple who are awaiting for their newborn's arrival, together with their parents and their daughter Paige. This lucky baby is fortunate to have both side of his grandparents eagerly waiting for his arrival and his elder sister.

The master room has an adjoining room where we hacked the wall in between 2 bedrooms in order for the couple to move easily from their master to the child's room. As this is a growing family for a 3 generation stay, all bedrooms were kept intact. The adjoining room initially was planned for their elder daughter to sleep in, however now the plan has changed for a baby nursery and for their daughter to bunk in with her doting grandparents.

The brief called for an open and close kitchen concept, breakfast bar counter complete with lots of storage area as the family does lots of cooking at home. The overall look was simple, clean, white with subtle light wood grain touches. The kitchen pattern tiles are duplicated in both bathrooms upstairs, keeping to a certain consistency. The master bath has a dedicated sit down bench in the shower area tiled in an overall grey shade from wall to floor. All bedrooms are furnished with a complete set of wardrobe, new windows, painting, complete wiring and flooring.

Reno@32GME - introduction

an overseas couple wrote to us, requesting for us to do their home reno remotely.

We have done quite a few renos while the couple or family was on vacay for 2 weeks to even 1 month and we have also completed renovations with home owner stationed overseas and coming back once every month to meet up for the home reno and to do some material selection.

this would probably be the 1st one where the home owner is not intending to come back at all for the home reno.... phew. a big leap in faith!!!

i suppose their needs have to be inked into our heads for us to represent them.

Reno@CCK3 Maisonette - Sneak Peeks!

it has almost been 3 months since we finished our works here and finally we managed to arrange a timing for a home photoshoot! The couple just came back from their holidays and are still in the midst of unpacking but because their baby boy Ethan is due in just a few days so it's either now or never to do the photoshoot!

and so here we are. Armed with our camera, baby Jade and our happiest hearts to meet the new home owners of this wonderful white and spacious maisonette.

enjoy the sneak peeks.

Stay tuned for the final photos.

COMING SOON!

Hi all!

It has been such an overwhelming month of May for me. Want to apologize to all my readers out there for neglecting my blog for almost a month! Truly juggling work and being a mother of 3 is quite tough....hahaha... i was so busy that I didn't know my eldest son's birthday falls on Vesak day (had some logistics nightmare with the school to prepare his birthday in advance), I totally forgotten to read my 2 sons's progress report (the school called and chased me) and I didn't had time to celebrate Mother's day either.

So what have I been up to?

I've actually started working on a new sports centre in Singapore where I'm not suppose to say where since it's confidential but it has taken up so much of my energy! Besides designing, there are so many sub-consultants to work with, and to arrange their timings with our client. Just attending to every meeting for all different consultants plus user group engagement, senior management meeting, steering committee meeting and major presentations is taking almost all my time at work. I just told my secretary that since I took over this sports centre, I haven't really sat on my office chair for long!

I'm truly grateful that I have my hubs!!! hubs is handling butterpaperstudio single-handedly, ferrying the boys to school everyday plus sending me to and from work and getting lunch for our helper who is looking after our baby. At nights, he even helped to take over 1 feed so that I can sleep a little longer. :)

Thank you hubs!

and now for all the throwback renovations which i have yet to post for the month of may.
thanks for all your patience my readers.... and I hope you have not forgotten us.

have a great saturday!
xoxo
